Cindy Yunha Jang-Barlow founded Jang Huddle to celebrate people of color, migrant stories and share the joy of movement.
Jang Huddle was established is a collaborative contemporary dance collective to empower people of colour to explore themes of community, intergenerational dynamics and empowerment of the inner child through dance.
Through Contemporary Dance, Physical Theatre, and multi-disciplinary experiences, we bring diverse voices to the forefront and share underrepresented stories.
Cindy's work is deeply rooted in her Korean heritage, which she seamlessly weaves into her artistic practice. With a strong focus on accessibility, she is dedicated to creating inclusive community spaces where everyone can explore dance and art experiences.

"What I am great at and love doing is improvisation, and making up my own quirky movements and teaching this to people who have never come from a professional background before. I love seeing people who have never learnt in a studio, create their own movements, style and personality to it." - Cindy Jang-Barlow Storyo Interview
In this battle that Jang Huddle presents between power and revolt it seems we are all searching for resolution - for egg shells to be gently repaired. Underlining this exploration of struggle is a tender call for reunion.
A compelling and unique first offering from Jang Huddle, Iron Eyes is a vantage point that provides stirring and personal insight into the Korean situation.
Highly recommended.
